Ring Lila Amethyst

Ring made of 925 silver, gilded with 24-carat gold. The stone embedded in the ring is a natural amethyst in a shade of light purple. The ring is secured with a special coating that protects the gilding from abrasion. 

Amethyst is a variety of quartz whose colour is mainly given by iron. It is a stone that has been highly valued for years, as evidenced by the inlaying of regalia or crown jewels. In ancient times – in Greece and Rome, it was recommended to drink wine in amethyst cups, which supposedly protected against bad mood the next day. It is believed that amethyst cures the stomach, skin diseases and neurosis. It ensures good sleep and mental health.
